When Peter purchased his home in 1988, two cats, The Black One and The gray One, were already living in the yard. He adopted them as indoor/outdoor cats.
Sadly, The Black One was hit by a car and died, and then shortly thereafter The Gray One was also hit by a car but survived through extensive surgery. We decided that all future adoptions would be for indoor cats only. While The Gray One made a complete recovery, she was lonely so Peter decided to adopt two kittens to keep her company. Thus was started our addiction to cats.
The adoptions continued throughout the years, and our feline friends grew in number. Today, they make up one of the many elements that keep the house feeling alive, fun, colorful, and calming.
