View All FIP WarriorsZoe was born 4/26/19. She is a playful, curious, and loving Siberian who loves nature. On 9/17/19 we took her to the ER because she was extra warm and lethargic; her A/G ratio was .36 and she had a fever of 104.7F. By the next morning her belly had filled with viscous yellow fluid and her temperature had risen. We were told by several professionals that she had only a matter of days left and we should consider euthanizing her. We gave her IV fluid every other day for a week until we started Mutian II injections. There were so many caring people that helped to educate me and make me feel good about the decision to medicate. Within 24 hours of Zoe's first injection, Zoe climbed up the stairs for the first time in a week and then she jumped on the bed! The next morning she was excited to take a couple bites of food after only wanting broth and mousse all week. Zoe would rest frequently in the early days, but she continued to improve and her 1 month bloodwork showed a .6 a/g ratio. We finished treatment after 84 intense days on 12/13/19 with a .9 a/g ratio. We are counting the days until she is considered cured!
