My beloved kitten and foster fail Yoko was diagnosed with wet FIP two weeks ago today. Within 24h she was lethargic and didn’t eat so I brought her to the ER. She had water in her chest and stomach, and a 106 fever. Before this I had never heard of FIP. All the other diseases but never FIP. I have 3 other cats that are all rescues and it’s been hard. I love my cats so much. Yoko had to stay in an oxygen chamber in the ICU for 3 days. Luckily the vet that treated Yoko knew about FIP Warriors and directed me immediately to them. With the amazing and fats help of FIP Warriors I got Yoko on her treatment less than 24h after bringing her to the ER. Since then she’s been doing so well. She’s on DAY 14 of her treatment and has returned to her old playful and loving self. I have a Go Fund Me set up to help with her medical bills. Unfortunately the 3 day stay at the ICU and all the tests were very expensive and so is the treatment. I appreciate any help I can get and I’m forever thankful to the FIP Warriors.
