Theta was a delightful little Devon Rex who left us far too early when she was less than 3 years old. It was 10 years ago, 2013, and we had never heard of this awful disease that our little ball of sunshine was diagnosed with. We did everything we could and managed to get some experimental drugs from UC Davis, but it was too late. We donated Theta’s DNA to the lab to help progress the research and crossed our fingers that some day there would be a cure. Exactly 10 years later, to the month, we got our next new cat and our 2nd case of FIP! But we’re thankful every day for what we’ve learned from Theta, and proud to say we’re parents of a healthy Warrior!
