View All FIP WarriorsRaskal is a 3 year old Siberian, who was only 7.5lbs and I was worried about him for a few weeks, and the day he decided he didn't want his treats, I took him to the vet. She kept him for a few days and called me with the devastating news that he either had FIP or Leukemia. Luckily for us, I had seen a post in my Siberian FB group about a potential FIP treatment.
The day she confirmed that he had dry FIP, is the day I reached out to the FIP Warrior team. I was setup with an emergency dose that night, and gave him his first shot the next morning.
Within 48 hours of his first shot, he was eating and playing again. He fought every single shot - within 4 days I was in tears thinking that even if this medicine works, he's going to die because I can't get it into him. Luckily my vet was extremely supportive and got me a prescription for Gabapentin. That together with Churus during his shot made it possible to give him his medicine every day for 100 days. We extended beyond the 84 days as his lymph nodes had not reduced as much as the team wanted.
We started his observation in October of 2020, and on Jan 12, 2021 he was proclaimed cured by my admin and the vet team. He has been fine ever since and my vet is thrilled with being able to see a cat survive FIP. Anyone who is considering this treatment, do it, it's worth everything.
