FIP Warrior:

Nathan

Nathan is my foster. We have had him since he was only 6 weeks old. When he was around 6 months old he became really sick and it was dry FIP. He could barely walk. He didn’t want to eat. We started him on injections. My husband asked how we would know if it was helping. We could tell by the next day - he was engaged and eating like a champ. He packed on the weight. He did relapse and we think it was because our rescue vet would not do bloodwork because we doing treatment. So we did a 2nd round of treatment and used a different vet. Nathan is officially cured and we are so grateful. We lost 2 personal cats to FIP before there was a cure and many fosters. Now there is treatment that gives them a chance to live.
