I adopted Marlowe at 3 months old from the SFSPCA. He was so cute and playful. Just a day or so after I brought him home I noticed he was lethargic. The next day I noticed his breathing was rapid. After many vet visits, with only evidence of a high fever and some fluid around the lungs, he was diagnosed with FIP my process of elimination. I only had 10 days with him and he was loved and cared for in those days. I was left with a hole in my heart, many questions and uncertainties -- which I still feel 2 years later. I truly hope we can find a cure for this disease - save the sweet kitties and the owners from heart break.
