FIP Warrior:

Loki

We noticed our 9 month old kitten had a little sniffle. He was pretty lazy and sniffling and just seemed to be acting strange. After taking him to the vet, he noticed his ears were a yellow tint and he suspected something more serious. After a week of many blood tests, we had no diagnosis and Loki was getting sicker. After obsessively Googling what could be wrong, I kept landing on FIP. Once his belly started growing, I knew it was true. Our vet drew out the yellow fluid from his abdomen and we knew it was FIP. I added every support group I could find and was overwhelmed at the amount of supporters, and salesman, and resources out there. THANKFULLY I added FIP Warriors 5.0. They were able to connect me to a huge group of people in my area that provided me with the starter doses of medication and supplies. I was connected with families and my admin that were available to answer my many questions and concerns. With no support from my vet, we began this crazy journey on May 4. It was stressful in the beginning. We made a few mistakes along the way, wasted medicine, wrestled our poor kitty. The change happened so fast! Loki had gotten so bloated and could barely stand or walk. After only 3-4 days of treatment, he had greatly improved! He was running around the house like a kitten. Over the first month his bloating went away. He was playing with toys, chasing his sister, climbing everything he could! Every week he got better and better, much to the shock of our vet. Every follow up appointment for his blood tests our vet would shake his head in disbelief "This cat should be long dead! This is incredible!" After the 12 weeks of treatment, his bloodwork was that of a perfectly healthy cat! He had nearly doubled his weight and was as energetic and lively as a kitten. We entered the observation period on August 1, and we are almost out of the 12 weeks of observation without any sign of him slowing down. We are hopefully his post treatment blood tests remain perfect and he will be CURED of FIP!
