FIP Warrior:

Lily

We adopted Lily a week after losing our beautiful 18 year old Bella from heart failure in September 2018. She was 6 months, spunky, and really put a spark back into our home and us. In January 2019, I lost my father and in May I lost my sister to stage 4 uterine cancer. We were overloaded with grief. On the morning of July 7th, Lily became wobbly and couldn’t jump, we noticed her left eye was definitely darker and “weird looking.” We immediately took her to the ER vet on a Sunday where he said it was most likely FiP. We had never heard of it. She was already starting to decline even after 2 days. The next day and a another vet visit, I was planning to euthanize that week. My boyfriend did some digging and found “Oswald’s fight with FIP.” We exchanged messages and had the meds the very next day. It was rough, we were scared, we fought, and we cried a lot. Within a day or two her fever and neurological symptoms were gone within a week. We couldn’t believe the changes, she just kept improving daily. We nurtured her and stayed in constant communication with Mutian. They guided us and answered any and ALL of my panicked crazy questions! We finished our last dose on October 13th. We observed for 84 days and just rechecked the bloodwork. Everything is normal, she’s ALIVE, and CURED!!!
