View All FIP WarriorsI found Ghost and his sister Spooky in my garage October 2019. They were starving and sick at 4 weeks old. February of 2020 Ghost started to lose weight, his coat got rough, he had constant soft stool, and he started sleeping a lot. We went to the vet multiple times treating different things but Ghost kept getting worse. In June of 2020 Ghost started showing neurological symptoms which eventually led to him being paralyzed. Our vet did bloodwork and mentioned FIP. Panicked, scared, and heartbroken for my kitten, I started doing my own research and found FIP Warriors. My husband and I instantly decided we had to give it a shot and started treatment June 16, 2020. We breezed through treatment and Ghost bounced back quickly. We finished observation on November 30, 2020. Ghost has permanent nerve damage from FIP and stumbles around. We call him our little drunk person but we are so grateful he is still here. He started treatment at 4.8 pounds and is now well over 9 pounds. He is a happy, playing, loving cat who defied all odds. He started off as a runt kitten with an eye infection, respiratory infection, worms, coccidia, and then FIP and survived them all. He is truly a FIP Warrior.
