Unfortunately, our loving fur baby, Cali was recently diagnosed with dry and potentially neuro/ocular FIP (Feline infectious peritonitis). FIP is a rare fatal disease for cats regarding their immune system and how it fights off infections. Since their is no cure, our vet suggests we put her down. However after a lot of research we found a treatment plan and medications but it is extremely costly. Also my boyfriend and I just both lost our jobs, therefor we have no source of income. Cali is only 2 years old and still has a lot of years ahead of her, and as she is our first fur baby we would not feel right if we did not try this treatment plan that has a 80% success rate. This week has been extremely hard for us to see her become super lethargic, unable to walk, not eating or drinking much, and knowing she has swelling in her brain and eyes. We are hopeful now that we found a potential way out of this fatal disease.
