FIP Warrior:

Aspen

Aspen started showing signs of lethargy, sleeping more, high temperature and was struggling to use the bathroom. I took her to the vet and we tried to bring the temp down and took X-rays to check for bowel obstructions. A week went by and her health was not improving so we took her back to the vet and they recommended us to go to an emergency vet. We did stat ultrasounds and we ended up hospitalizing her. The next day her health was rapidly declining and the vet strongly believe it was FIP. They did pull fluid from the abdomen and it was that yellowish color. We could not afford the trail medication at this time. The humane thing to do was to put Aspen to sleep. My baby girl was 1 year and 5 months. My goal is to help find a cure so no one has to go through what we did.
