Ares was officially diagnosed with FIP (wet) on 02/09/2021. He has shown symptoms of dry FIP since he was adopted in July 2020, but unfortunately, they were not diagnosed correctly until the disease progressed. FIP is a strain of feline coronavirus that mutates with an overactive immune response and is fatal in 95%of cases; however, there is an effective treatment available that will give him an 80% chance of survival! He is fighting very hard to get well, but he needs our help as his medicine is very expensive. He will need 84 days of treatment at $30 a day several blood tests. Please consider helping to save Ares as he means the world to his parents, who have already lost so much during the pandemic.
