FIP Warrior:

Max

At 5 months old, Max was diagnosed with Neurological/Dry FIP.  His symptoms were severe, loss of vision, fatigue, paralysis of his back legs, no appetite, and so much more.  I spent 5 days feeding him hourly by a syringe and bringing him to his litter box as he was unable to get in and out alone.  We did injections twice a day for the first couple weeks and switched to pills once Max became stronger as it was very difficult and as many as you know giving injections are stressful enough for us.  After completing his first round of treatments 87 days, Max relapsed on day 2 of observation and we restarted treatment.  After 60 days of treatment and 4 or 5 great results of labs, we decided to end Max’s treatment again.  Day 3 of observation Max began a slight fever and it continued to increase.  After developing more symptoms, we have decided to start treatment for a 3rd time.  As many of you know the cost of this treatment and vet bills are very expensive.  Please consider donating and sharing our story.  We appreciate your support!
