Just before Christmas I noticed my little dude not doing the best. He’d sleep for most of the day, had a very saggy stomach, and seemingly lost appetite for anything. Worried, I took him to an emergency Vet who presumed it was the wet variation of FIP. The Vet told me that they’d like to hold onto him for testing and that it would run upwards of $8,000 or that we should consider putting him down so he doesn’t struggle to live his last few days. Ultimately they couldn’t treat whatever they find. Frustrated and knowing there had to be a different answer I took my dude home, did my own research and found FIP Warriors. Got in contact with some people and was able to get him started on the injectable treatment. The treatment was so bizarre. My cat who seemingly had days left to live was up, walking around and trying to steal my pizza again just after one day of treatment. We continued the injectable treatment and he just continued to get better and better. We switched to the pills around day 60 for convince and to give him more comfort. The fluid disappeared from his abdomen, his appetite and activity were at an all time high. Goose just finished his 84th day, we took him in for labs and he passed with flying colors. Little dude is a rockstar, a fighter and a warrior. I can’t thank the group, the creators, or those pushing for FDA approval enough. Y’all are something else, thank you truly.
