View All FIP WarriorsOur sweet Stu was diagnosed in March-April of 2023. Stuart first began showing signs of being sick when we noticed his belly was swollen. He didn't "seem" sick at all, so we didn't expect anything out of the ordinary. After day 2 of his tummy being so round, I took him to the vet. Almost immediately the vet told me he thought it was FIP - an abdominal tap confirmed this. Having never heard of FIP, I was terrified after hearing an explanation of the diagnosis. Stuart wasn't even a year old yet, and we had only had him for a couple months. Despite leaving the vet feeling distraught, scared, and guilty for not knowing the signs, we began researching "cures" for FIP and came across the FIP Warriors page(s). We were fortunate enough to have been able to act quickly and get the treatment Stuart needed. It was a challenge administering the injections at first, but he was an amazing boy through it all. After we completed the course of treatment and got Stuart's bloodwork back, we found out he had been cured! Thanks to the FIP treatments available, our sweet boy is doing amazing, had his first birthday AND his first Christmas, and is living his best life with his sisters Sansa and Mirabel. Thank you to the FIP Warriors volunteers who made this all possible!!!
