Where to begin … Nugget came to us as a foster kitten from a shelter I was working at. He was happy and healthy but we knew he had been exposed to Corona as a couple kittens at the shelter already lost their battle. When Nugget got sick with wet FIP his labs were off and he started developing fluid on lungs and in his abdomen. The emergency vet that we took him to mentioned a group on Facebook that might give us a chance. We started treatment immediately. Nugget was back to his bouncy, mischievous self after 3 injections. We stayed on injections for two full weeks, as Nugget got stronger the injections became so difficult for us to hold him down. We switched to capsules and they were a God send. Nugget had two upper respiratory infections during the course of 84 days - which gave us panic attacks - but we stayed the course and he made it! Nugget completed 84 days of treatment. We are now into observation and couldn’t be more proud of him. He is approximately 7 months old and our wild child! We are forever grateful to the treatments and will forever spread the word when given a chance.
