View All FIP WarriorsHello, I'm Taco, and I'm in the midst of a challenging battle that began on August 19, 2023, under the loving care of my mom, Jane, guided by the support of our admins, Nancy and Bre. Thank you for taking a moment to hear my story.
I was rescued by my amazing mom when I was just a little kitten, marking the first of many blessings in my life. Unlike many unfortunate kittens, I didn't have to endure the harsh realities of street life or shelter living. Even though I've contracted the horrible FIP virus, I consider myself fortunate because my vet collaborates closely with a woman named Carrie, who has treated many FIP Legends. Recognizing the power of coming together, Carrie has initiated this fundraiser, understanding that sometimes, it truly takes a village.
My mom, Jane, is the epitome of an incredible cat mom. Despite being retired and on Social Security, she has selflessly prioritized my needs, ensuring I adhere to the treatment protocol. I am also blessed with the unwavering support of my dedicated admins, Nancy and Bre, who tirelessly dedicate their time to help countless families like mine.
Speaking of blessings, my mom has a dear friend who has shown up every single night for the past 84 days to assist in administering my shots. Knowing that my mom can't manage it alone, this incredible friend goes above and beyond, always lending a helping hand and often bringing Churu.
Now, after 84 days of battling, we've learned that the fight isn't over, and I need to extend my treatment for at least another thirty days. With a new dosage of 4.8 ml, which will only increase as the month progresses (did I mention I'm a big boy?), my mom is understandably worried about how she'll manage to afford more medicine.
That's why my friend Carrie and I are reaching out to you for help. If you can contribute, not only would I be eternally grateful, but so would my mom. Your support means the world to us, and together, we can continue this fight and strive for a victorious end to my journey. Thank you for being a part of our story.
