My darling kitten Xanthos is responding incredibly well to an experimental treatment for an otherwise fatal disease—but we can’t afford to continue without your help. Please read on to learn more about my special cat and the medicine that’s saving him!
When my cheeky, playful young kitty Xanthos started coughing and acting lethargic, I knew something wasn’t right. But nothing could’ve prepared me for this diagnosis: I learned that Xhanthos had contracted Feline Infectious Peritonitis (FIP).
Until recently, this diagnosis was a death sentence. But with the help of an experimental treatment studied extensively by scientists at UC Davis and elsewhere, Xanthos has hope.
After over two months of daily at-home injections, the treatment is working wonders. Xanthos has started playing with his big brother Rufus again. Xanthos is a fighter, and he will beat this disease if we complete the full 12-week treatment. But with an estimated cost of 3500,- Euro, I can’t save him on my own.
Xanthos is a special cat. I adore him. He completes our little family as my everyday companion and Rufus beloved little brother. I want to do everything I can to save him. Please help me keep him alive.
