This is vindication for Dr Neils Pedersen, who has been urging for studies to see if GS441524 could treat Covid-19 for more than a year. It also shows how the distinction between "animal" research and human research is an artificial one. In this case, funding FIP research may directly help save humans from Covid-19! It certainly is saving many cats.
