Smokey has some good news to share.  This was received from one of his favorite doctors after Smokeys perfect blood test results of this week.

Dear Peter:  Although FIP has never followed the rules,  I believe that we can put the odds of Smokey being cured as very high.  We have not seen relapses of FIP after this period of time and he has endured several significant stresses without problems.

While we will always worry more about Smokey and FIP than with our other cats, this really is a big milestone. Smokey loves the camera and can stare down anyone/anything:).   We are now battling ants and thus the need to put down wet paper towels, which gives the cats about 20 min to eat before the ants breach the water.   Makes feeding much more challenging.   Smokey claimed the SleepyPod just like he had the NekoHut, which can be seen in temporary possession of Mikan and Blackbird.
