MiniBean was adopted from ResQcats during the time we had just adopted Smokey and he was at UC Davis starting his FIP drug trial treatment.  While it was not the ideal time to add another cat to House Of Nekko, MiniBean had been found without a mother and was nursed back to health without the benefit of a mother or other siblings. She developed a very bad biting habit. While always in play, she bit hard enough to draw blood. We worried that if she was placed in a home, the first time she drew blood she would be abandoned or worse. The idea was that at House of Nekko, the other cats would teach her how to play nice. It worked out perfectly.  The other cats whopped her good when she bit and within a week, her biting problem was gone. She does, however, eat the fastest of all our cats.
