These pictures of Miss Bean and Smokey, both FIP Warriors, bring sadness and also great hope.  Miss Bean lived 4 weeks on the UC Davis drug trial.  Smokey has completed 12 weeks of treatment and has been off the drug for 9 days now and is still doing great.  Losing Miss Bean was very difficult, as all FIP deaths are.  If we lose Smokey too, that will be almost unbearable.  BUT, great progress is being made in efforts at finding a cure.  If not for donations, Smokey would not be alive today and would not have been given this second chance at life.  So I am asking people who can afford to give up 2 cups of starbucks and instead donate that $10 each month.  Or $5.  For those who cannot afford to give, sharing our site also helps us reach more people.   All help is welcome.  No funds are used for my cats or myself.  All donations are split equally between SOCKFIP.org and the Bria Fund of the Winn Feline Foundation.  Thank you.
